Chateau Mignan ‘Les Trois Clochers’ Minervois La Laviniere
Last terrace from Minervois, down the Montagne Noire, with clay and limestone soils. Made from a blend of Syrah 65% Carignan 20% Grenache 15% the vatting time is rather long (3 weeks approx.) in order to have maximum extraction. The wine is then aged in French oak for 15 months.This give sthe wine a deep red robe with purple tints. Strong aromas with notes of red and black fruit, smooth spices in the mouth, notes of very ripe fruit with soft tannins. It will go with red meat in a sauce, game and mature cheeses.
